Très Grand Buffet

From the start, one perceives in the work of Thomas Hirschhorn his just engagement: his simple and economic work exposes the human condition. To facilitate the reading of the work, we can dissect it in two parts which in their finality form a whole: work itself and its form of presentation.

Très Grand Buffet (Very Large Buffet), carried out for Fri-Art, is a place in the place. The artist uses the customs and habits of our society, in the manner of doing and deciding, knowing that the event is significant but of short duration. In this exhibition, the delicacies are different: another food, another delight, another headache.
