Live Performance: Ei Arakawa - Don’t Give Up

Location

Bains de La Motta, Fribourg

A performance version of the queer Japan-born American artist Ei Arakawa’s Don’t Give Up is conceived for the 100th anniversary of the Bains de la Motta (the legendary public pool behind Friart). This participatory performance is about the precarity of being artist and parent at the same time. Arakawa invites you to walk on a path set up in the pool to reflect on instabilities, parental genius, and artist sustainability.
