A contemporary art center is like a laboratory for art and the humanities!

Kunsthalle Friart Fribourg invites you to explore its mythical spaces and make the many works on display your own. To this end, we offer a range of cultural, artistic and critical mediation activities for all, enabling you to immerse yourself in the many facets of contemporary art.

GUIDED TOUR
A guided tour is a stimulating way of familiarizing oneself with what is currently happening in contemporary art, as well as broadening one’s knowledge. The tour includes an introduction to Kunsthalle Friart and to the current exhibitions.

New: 15-minute introduction to the exhibitions for all types of groups with our mediators or the artistic director!

Duration: 15 minutes
– 50 CHF, admission included

Duration: 45-60 minutes
– 130 CHF small groups (up to 10 people), admission included
– 180 CHF large groups (up to 25 people), admission included

COUCOU FRIART !
Cultural mediation workshop for secondary I and II school classes

With COUCOU FRIART ! students and accompanying adults are invited to make the exhibited works their own.

The workshop consists of two parts. It begins with an interactive tour introducing the history of Kunsthalle Friart and the realities of contemporary art. This is followed by a group workshop in which participants are invited to express critical opinions on the strangely fascinating world of contemporary art. 

Duration: 90 minutes

This evolving workshop ties in with the Kunsthalle’s various exhibitions.

Secondary I:
– 150 CHF per class, admission included
– 75 CHF per class, with the support of Culture&Ecole, admission included
