Open doors: artistic research residencies

During the month of August, two artists had the opportunity to carry out a research residency supported by the City of Fribourg at Friart. For her project Je ne suis pas d’ici, je ne suis pas d’ailleurs, Maria Eugenia Poblete Beas interrogates the notion of territory and her relationship with it, through textile works. With To make an entrance is to runway, Remy Ugarte Vallejos, in collaboration with Antoine Weil and Sven Gex, proposes a project that combines installation, performance and fashion design, focusing on coming-of-age stories in the midst of the commercial world.
