The exhibition is curated by Michel Ritter

Each of the three artists brought together for this exposure has a specific approach of painting and articulates problems in relation to this medium.

The abstract compositions of Francis Baudevin draw their origin from the graphic field and logotype of which the goal is the realization of the packing of the “product”. The subtraction of all the writings, so that only forms and colours remain, thus gives rise to the work itself.

In his artistic research, Andreas Vetterli uses as background the false wood which forms the main topic. This obsession of the subject is a pretext for a greater concentration only dedicated to attitudes.

Unlike the other artists, Rene Walker uses the colour like matter in itself. By a magical kind of manipulation, he transforms a table, initially envisaged in two dimensions, to a representation of the subject, using the frame of the fabric and colour, to become a sculpture, a painting or a three dimensional image.
