The exhibition Our natural sciences is visible at the Botanical garden and the Museum of natural history, as well as at Fri-Art. It is not only a concept, but also an exhibition which encroaches deliberately on several domains. We discuss on the relations between the scientific forms of knowledge and the artistic forms of research. They cannot be thought any more without social opposition: economy, public opinion, ecology.

This exhibition, with international participation, is a place of exchange where the results of work are presented and can be compared. The invited artists give an opinion towards the natural science and their work is registered above all as phenomena in the scientific context and not like autonomous works of art.

In Our natural sciences, the slips of glance towards the detail, the experimentation, and the search for interferences with society reveals the possibility of reaching new forms of aesthetic experience and knowledge.

At the occasion of this exhibition a publication was produced containing four original contributions of the artists.
