Nevin Aladağ

At Fri-Art, Nevin Aladağ creates an environment which uses the senses of hearing and touch. The room seems empty, but it is filled with sound, heat and freshness. At the entry a hot current irritates us and, almost simultaneously, a cold current reaches us. Only a sound, comparable with a projectile fills the space. The oppositions, extreme situations and in this case the absence of “images” make it possible for Nevin Aladağ to refine the systems of perception and communication. They are directly related to the corporally perceived feeling, the heat and the cold, and to the sound that suggests an action. We don’t look at the work of Nevin Aladağ, we experiment it, see it.
